Stay cool with our Frozen Smoothie recipe.

Things are heating up and we’re all looking for ways to keep cool this summer. During these times I make it my lifes mission to find new ways to stay cool and hydrated. If you are willing to make a little effort, and lord know it’s hard in this heat. Then this frozen green smoothie is the way to go. Not only is it delicious. It’s also packed with vitamins C, A and K that support the health of your skin, heart and immune system.

It’s so simple to make. You can prep your smoothies by pre-freezing the individual ingredients or it’s easy to pick up pre frozen fruit from the supermarket to add to your smoothie. Make sure to thoroughly wash any fresh greens you’re adding.The texture I aim for is thick slush puppy vibes, feel free to pop in an ice cube or two, and a mini cocktail brolly?…go wild!

What you’ll need:

Cucumber 1/3 (frozen)

Fresh mint

Spinach

Kale

Pineapple (frozen)

Apple juice half glass add more if the mixture is too thick
